Festival Description
80+ artists gather under three giant “marketplace” tents, constructing sales displays within their vendor space using pop-up tents, mobile walls, lighting, shelving, and tables. All items sold by vendors are handcrafted and regionally made. Vendors are thoughtfully distributed throughout the event, spacing out makers of similar crafts.
*Farms and food trucks do not need to go through this jury process - email us directly at kelsey@field-guide-events.com if you are a food/farm vendor.

Jurors and Selection Process (Scoring Metric)
Jurors are selected from the Hood River and regional arts and events communities.
Vendors local to Hood River and the Pacific Northwest are prioritized
Saturation of vendor categories will be considered and there will be an estimated cap to each category
A determination if the products are handcrafted - follow-up questions for the artist may be asked about the creation process
Overall pricing distribution
Quality of booth presentation
Focus of products being sold - prioritizing excellence in one category versus a wide array of offerings
Uniqueness of the overall product delivery
Experience as a vendor. Our guests are coming to meet you and the ability to be personable over such a duration is critical. This should not be your first multi-day market. This market has become more competitive every year it is not a place to get started but rather an achievement to reach.
